The staff... read more are so helpful and have a great knowledge of Cuba, they are more than happy to help suggest and organise the rest of your trip around the country. One note, if you are travelling to Cuba do not transfer your money at the airport, wait until you arrive in Havana and do it at your hotel or in a restaurant, much better exchange rate. The staff... read more could not have been more wonderful. Everyone was super helpful, polite, and ensured you had everything you needed. Very clean accommodations and the location was perfect. I could not recommend a better private hotel to stay at in the area. Next trip we will definitely be coming back.

  I'll admit, Havana wasn't very easy for us, but Sarai, Fredi and Tony made our stay worthwhile and we are very thankful to them! They went out of their way... read more to make sure we were happy and comfortable and were very helpful with tips, general knowledge or just very good company. The location is amazing, very close to old town square, restaurants and bars and a short walk to Malecon. The breakfast is full and delicious and it's just fun to sit there in the evenings over beer or a cocktail and have a great chat with Tony. We took the biggest room, Gran Laudelina, which was absolutely amazing and specious. Very recommended!

  Lovely, friendly hotel in heart of Old Havana - We stayed at Hostal Balcones Muralla for 4 nights. We loved the charm and character of this lovely old hotel, and the location right in the heart of Old Havana... read more was perfect. Sarai and her mum, Tony and the other staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. We loved having breakfast overlooking the bustling street below every morning, and particularly enjoyed Sarai's mum's delicious omelettes. 

We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to soak up the authentic feel of Old Havana.
