The building itself is situated on an easy to find long street & has a lot of history, having been renovated to an extremely high standard whilst retaining all the romance and charm of its period features. You will find yourself soaking up the bustling Havana atmosphere from the sanctuary of the balcony, welcome drink in hand with gentle help and unassuming advice about the best way to experience the city itself on arrival. Our room was spotlessly clean and absolutely gorgeous. The breakfast was totally delicious and very thoughtfully crafted. Don’t miss out on the guava jam. ¡Que buenissima! Our room was so charming and the bed comfortable. The location is spot on and walking distance to all the sights. This place oozes character and charm and gave us such a more memorable experience than a normal hotel. The breakfast is abundant and fresh everyday and we looked forward to it every morning, sitting on the terrace watching the daily life zoom past below. Despite its location in the heart of Old Havana, in the night it was quiet and peaceful. The only small negative is a slight smell from the plumbing but when you are staying in older renovated buildings such as this it is normal, and didn’t bother us.

The sitting area and bar are on the second floor, rooms on the second and third... read more floors with a rooftop terrace overlooking everything. We had breakfast included in our stay each morning with the best coffee we had our entire stay and the most delicious Guava jam.

Each room has it's own balcony with chairs, washroom and new ac unit. We felt safe as they only opened the main door for guests.

For us, it was the staff who made this our favourite stop in Havana. Frank and Tony were so friendly and knowledgeable, would love to come back just to chat.
