If you want to get a real feel for Cuba, La Havana and its people, you must stay at Balcones Murallas and experience it yourself. This place has everything... location, location, location, cleanliness, decor, attentive staff, good food, and a real taste of the city . The tableware and the mojitos teapots are delightful. Just go there!!! They will arrange everything for you, since arrival until the time that you are reluctantly ready to depart.

Hostal Balcones Muralla is a warm place, with lots of energy and spirit around.
The place have a special old and fine look, and nice balconies too, around the main rooms, and the bar/check in area. Really Caribbean, really traditionally with paintings and old fine furniture.
The rooms are fine, some have balconies, where you can sit and enjoy the life of Havana, passing through.
The staff is absolutely friendly, and being a traveler, I think I haven’t seen anything like this service. The staff can help you with almost everything, and also have time to help, and chat with you, if you need anything, or just want to enjoy the moment, being there and to hang around. Combined, the staff knows a good part about Havana, and can also help you book a tour/taxi, for a trip or your further travel in Cuba.
I would definitely go again!

We had a excellent breakfast every day, with coffee and juice, vegetables, bread, marmalade, cheese and eggs madein every way we wanted.
The stuff is very nice and helpful.
Most of the sightseeing places are reachable in walking distance. A lot of restaurants and bars are around, for covid they were all cclosed, but the stuff organised take away for us and made delicious cocktails at the hotel bar.
We will get back to this place when covid is over and enjoy real Habana life there. We recommend this place for having a great time in Havanna! More
