Breakfast was unbelievable!!! The staff was really kind and helpful. They are very helpful and good to talk to. It was very fun when staying at the hotel. The Hostal has a very central location in Old Habana to get to the most important sights in walking distance.

We knew we wanted to stay at a private business, as anything else is operated by the Cuban government... read more (please look up how to keep your tourism money out of their hands) and we took the plunge on Balcones Muralla. Rooms are clean, staff is outrageously friendly, generous, and helpful. We could not have picked a better place to stay. This is the place we will always come back to on our future travels to Cuba as Americans.
