We loved the charm and character of this lovely old hotel, and the location right in the heart of Old Havana... read more was perfect. Sarai and her mum, Tony and the other staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. We loved having breakfast overlooking the bustling street below every morning, and particularly enjoyed Sarai's mum's delicious omelettes. 

We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to soak up the authentic feel of Old Havana.

					  The coolest place in Havana - Great staff, great location and a really cool building from the 1800s full of old stuff.  Best place to meet like minded travelers and grab a drink and hang... read more out.  The staff were super helpful and recommended us great things to see and do in the local area.  It is a 5min walk from everything that is worth seeing in the old town.

					  Absolutely amazing stay at this gem in Old Havana. Through an unsuspecting brown door at street level you are guided up to a beautiful restaurant and terrace where the hosts... read more will give you the lay of the land. Our room was so charming and the bed comfortable. The location is spot on and walking distance to all the sights. This place oozes character and charm and gave us such a more memorable experience than a normal hotel. The breakfast is abundant and fresh everyday and we looked forward to it every morning, sitting on the terrace watching the daily life zoom past below. Despite its location in the heart of Old Havana, in the night it was quiet and peaceful. The only small negative is a slight smell from the plumbing but when you are staying in older renovated buildings such as this it is normal, and didn’t bother us.

What makes this place extra special is the wonderful people who work there, like Chris who helped organize everything and made us feel so comfortable  More
